Walk with Offa in the Shropshire Hills

Clun, Shropshire

Follow in King Offa’s footsteps with 18 way-marked pub walks taking you through border country between England & Wales and along Offa’s Dyke.

If you’re looking for some spectacular views, glimpses of history, wildlife and archaeology and a foaming pint of ale in a cosy country pub, then these ‘Walking with Offa’ walks are for you. Each walk either starts or finishes at a pub located within the west of the Shropshire Hills A.O.N.B and are designed to make it easy for you to support local country pubs, cafes and shop whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

You can even leave your car behind as several of the walks are also possible to access by public transport. If you’d rather not head out on your own, then you can join a guided walk instead. Led by an experienced and knowledgeable walk leader, all guided walks include a delicious lunch at a local country pub. So get yer boots on and step back in time by Walking with Offa.
