Join the A-List on a narrow boat holiday

Chirk, Shropshire

You just can’t beat messing about in boats and travelling at just 4 miles an hour you are sure to unwind.

There is something quite magical about travelling along The Llangollen and Shropshire Union canals. With unspoilt scenery passing by, it's the perfect way to relax and you can even stop off and visit towns and villages (and maybe a few pubs too) along the way.

Negotiating flights of locks, passing through tunnels alongside ancient meres and navigating the exceedingly high aqueducts at Chirk and Pontcysyllte are all part of the experience.

They will test your skills for sure, but nothing that you won’t be able to cope with and help is never far away for those who need it. According to the said A-listers, their family canal trip was one best family holidays they’d ever had. Some recommendation indeed!
