Explore a wild playground in Exmoor

Exmoor & Quantock Hills, Devon

Cycle past ancient sights and ramble amongst towering trees on a walking or cycling holiday spent exploring two National Parks.

Exmoor is a walkers and cyclists paradise. Not only are there miles of routes through coast and countryside to choose from, but there are many great places to eat and stay to make the experience complete.

For shorter walks you can experience the tall trees trail in Dunster, the ancient Tarr Steps, or the dramatic Valley of Rocks. Longer trails include The Coleridge Way and Two Moors Way, which links Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. Minehead also sees the start of the longest route in the UK, the 630mile South West Coast Path.

With its hills and valleys, Exmoor offers cyclists some serious mountain biking challenges, while families will enjoy Wimbleball Lake and the Quantock Hills.

In recent years the Tour of Britain was a major spectacle in the area, and to celebrate this road cyclists can follow the 56 mile Exmoor Cycle Route that the professionals did!
