In a historic barn near beautiful Warton Crag, the team at Old School Brewery make magic with malted barley, hops and yeast. Exterior of hotel

Tonight, we recommend staying at Northcote Hotel & Restaurant, a top-rated hotel in the Ribble Valley. For dinner, you have a choice: book a table at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, or venture a little further afield? It’s not every day that you have a menu praised by Michelin for its ‘superb produce’ on your doorstep. Northcote champions local suppliers, alongside veg and herbs from its own garden. Expect sustainable, unpretentious fine dining.
