The intimate surroundings of the End of the Road Festival give you the chance to get up close and personal with the bands and their music.
There can’t be many festivals where peacocks and parrots wander around in-between the wellies. End of The Road prides itself on this kind of small-scale intimacy and you won’t need to worry about overpriced, undercooked burgers.
Instead there may be an impromptu set from Josh T Pearson beside the piano in the woods or Jarvis Cocker may decide he wants to take up the guitar and play with Jolie Holland. Small though this festival might be, it still packs a punch with circus skills workshops, an arts and crafts grotto, comedy tent and good quality organic food. This year's headliners include Beirut, Metronomy and Michael Kiwanuka.
End of the Road Festival 2020 takes place between 3-6 September and tickets are available now.
