See Dorset from two wheels on a Jurassic Cycle Trail

Choose from 3 routes that explore the Jurassic Coast’s history, geology and wildlife.

Route 1 follows the cycle paths around Lodmoor Country park and Nature Reserve – ideal for youngsters learning to ride.

Route 2 is a slightly longer route leading into Weymouth Town Centre with its many attractions, award winning beach and 17th century working harbour - a perfect family cycle ride.

Route 3 continues on from Weymouth joining the Rodwell Trail before heading over to the Isle of Portland, where you can marvel at the many winsdsurfers, sailors and kitesurfers at this world famous London 2012 Olympic watersports destination.

There are plenty of picnic locations along the way to make for a full day out on your bike. Maps of the ‘Jurassic Coast Cycle Trails’ are supplied by Signpost Cycling and the routes are well signposted. Bike hire is also offered at Signpost Cycling with children’s cycles and tagalongs available.
