Take a dip in the 1930s art deco outdoor Tinside Lido, where you can go for a dip or relax with a snack.
Plymouth boasts a delightful Grade II listed swimming facility that is considered one of the finest examples of 1930s lido architecture in the country. The art deco lido overlooking Plymouth Sound featured in the Guardian’s top 10 outdoor swimming pools in 2013.
This open-air, sea water pool has undergone a £3.4 million renovation, and is open to the public between May and September. With fantastic views of Plymouth Sound, Smeaton's Tower lighthouse and The Hoe, a swim in our lido is not only refreshing but also extremely relaxing.
Complete with its own fountains, sun loungers for hire and lifeguards, you can’t beat the experience on a summer’s day
