Sample local craft beers brewed in Henry VIII's Southsea Castle

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Discover the taste of Southsea Brewing Co., brewed in Southsea Castle's micro-brewery.

We're sure that Henry VIII would approve of the newest addition to his own castle, Southsea Castle. The Southsea Brewing Company will be opening their doors to the public in early 2016, serving true artisanal beers, brewed within the historic walls of Southsea Castle.

Visitors to Southsea Castle will be able to try out the best local beers, pick up a pack for sampling at home and then explore the beautiful historic keep.

Head on up to the ramparts and enjoy the stunning views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight, or why not stop off for a bite to eat at the Castle Courtyard Café, where you'll be able to try out fantastic locally sourced cuisine.
