Picnic in Blackpool’s largest park

The 390-acre park is a landmark in Blackpool, offering a blend of architecture, horticulture and recreation.

Wander through the rose gardens to reach the art deco cafe, or wander the award-winning Blackpool Model Village and Gardens. You can also hire a boat to explore the expansive lake, or take a ride on the children's shuttle train. 

The little ones can let off some steam in the playground (aimed at 2 to 8 year olds), containing classics such as rocking horses, see saws, swings and roundabouts. The older kids also have their own dedicated timber play area, with more age-appropriate equipment. 

Then set out a blanket, sit down and tuck in to a homemade picnic!
