Explore Sherwood Forest and enjoy cycling and walking trails amid the beautiful woodland, including Robin's world-famous hideaway, the Major Oak. Afterwards, visit Edwinstowe, said to be the village where Robin Hood and Maid Marian got married.

You can’t leave Nottingham without having a photograph with the Robin Hood statue either. He has stood in the shadow of the infamous Nottingham Castle since 1952. Or take part in one of the county’s many Robin Hood themed events, such as the Robin Hood Beer Festival and the Robin Hood Festival.
