Discover the Cotswolds and Severn Vale by bike

Nailsworth, Gloucestershire

Discover the south Cotswolds on a new bike route from Nailsworth to Frampton on Severn, enjoying Prema Arts Cafe, Uley Bury and the tranquil canal en route.

This cheap UK break by bike begins in Nailsworth, an artistic town in a wooded valley, renowned for its restaurants, pubs, shops and mill trail.

Enjoy a well-earned break at Prema Cafe, part of the newly relaunched Prema Arts Centre in Uley.  The cafe serves great value vegetarian food and the finest coffee and cake. Uley Bury is nearby, free, and one of the finest examples of a promontory fort in Britain.

Head on into Coaley and experience total tranquillity on the prettiest section of the route.  Upon reaching Slimbridge, cycle along the beautiful canal and finally arrive in Frampton on Severn, known for its bustling village life and cricket on the Green (reputedly the largest village green in England).
