This delightful cycle route from Snape to Orford meanders through the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Starting at Snape Maltings, home to the world-famous concert hall and Aldeburgh Music, start your day with a delicious breakfast in the Granary Cafe before setting off on two wheels. The route takes you by the mysterious St Botolph's Church; the setting for the legendary 'Black Shuck' attacks.
After scaring yourself silly, hop back on two wheels and continue to the village of Orford; once an ancient port with its Norman Castle, the pretty village now offers quirky cafes serving homemade cakes and pastries, oysterages, smokehouses, independent shops and award-winning restaurants and hotels such as The Crown and Castle.
