Suffolk is the county for festivals, large and small, with at least one a week between May and October.
In just 10 years, Latitude has firmly ensconced itself in the top three UK festivals. Every July the Henham Estate near Southwold, Suffolk's most popular seaside resort, is transformed as thousands of festival-goers come to enjoy a mix of top music, comedy and literature, all melded together by the amazing atmosphere.
But it’s not all giant festivals. FolkEast takes place in August at Glemham Hall, bringing together the best in folk, roots and world music in the relaxed surroundings of Glemham Estate.
Ip-Art is a 23-day festival of the arts which includes the largest free one-day music event in the UK with musical acts, performance art, comedy, dance, film and visual art.
