Spend the day tasting delicious local produce, watching monster truck displays and meeting birds of prey at the Royal Cheshire County Show.
The Royal Cheshire County Show runs every June; with over 80,000 visitors every year, it is considered north west England's premier agricultural event.
Get up close and personal with a range of farm animals, taste a variety of local produce and watch some of the world’s most stunning birds of prey soar. Meanwhile, in the Countryside Live Area, you can try your hand at archery, clay shooting and fly casting to see who amongst the family has the best skills.
Take a trip to the Roberts Speciality Food Hall to sample the hundreds of tasty sweet and savoury treats on offer. While you’re there, you can watch a live cookery demonstration from some of the country’s top chefs like Rosemary Shrager. Make sure to catch both the dog show and the horse show, before heading over to the vintage machinery parade. You can spend the afternoon on the Village Green: an area where you can escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy a bite to eat and listen to various musical performances.
The Royal Cheshire County Show 2019 takes place between 18-19 June; tickets are available now.
