Spend the day tasting delicious local produce and meeting birds of prey at the Cheshire County Show.
The Cheshire County Show runs every June and here you can watch some of the world’s most stunning birds of prey soar. Meet the eagles, falcons, owls and even a vulture, before watching them in full flight. In the Countryside Experience Area you can try your hand at archery, clay shooting and fly casting and see who has the best eye.
Take a trip to the Roberts Speciality Food Hall to sample the hundreds of tasty sweet and savoury treats on offer. While you’re there, you can watch a live cookery demonstration from some of the country’s top chefs. Make sure to catch both the dog show and the horse show, before heading over to the vintage machinery parade. You can spend the afternoon on the Village Green: an area where you can escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy a bite to eat and listen to various musical performances.
