English wine production is turning heads on both sides of the Channel. There are nearly 400 commercial vineyards dotted around England, from Cornwall to Suffolk and Yorkshire. Many are open to the public and offer luxury on-site accommodation in B&Bs, self-catering cottages and barn conversions so you can really make the most of your wine-tasting experience. What could be better than learning about all things wine while looking forward to a sip or two of the homegrown sparkling stuff as the sun sets across the perfectly contoured vineyard.
