Enjoy wine tasting in the heart of Devon

Topsham, Devon

Discover award-winning wine produced in the beautiful Devon countryside and enjoy a tasting in the picturesque estuary town of Topsham, near Exeter.

Devon’s warm climate and sheltered south-facing slopes provide ideal grape growing conditions. Take a tour of the vines and winery at Pebblebed Vineyards, near Exeter, between May and October and be inspired by the passion owner Geoff Bowen has for making good wine.

Taste the award-winning wines at Pebblebed’s tasting cellar, located in an old warehouse on the riverside near the Quay in Topsham, accompanied by local tapas on wooden boards with bread, olive oil and either local cheeses, meats, smoked trout or pate.

After your tasting, take a stroll around the historic estuary port of Topsham, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, eclectic cluster of specialist shops and great places to eat, plus wonderful sunsets over the River Exe estuary.
