Step back in time on the Severn Valley Railway
Enjoy a combination of rolling countryside views and hints of a bygone era on a superb day of steam-hauled splendour.
A trip on the Severn Valley Railway is a great day out for all the family. You can alight the train at various stations along the route to immerse yourselves in the glorious English countryside, visit local attractions and sample local food and drink at friendly, family-run cafes.
As you travel through the West Midland Safari Park, keep an eye out for all the exotic wildlife - from tigers and elephants, to giraffes, hippos and the largst pride of white lions in the UK. Your stop-off at Highley also gives you a chance to experience the visitor centre, with its range of steam locomotives, railway themed exhibitions, gift shop and restaurant with panoramic views over the River Severn and beyond.
If you choose to take a break from the train and stay overnight at one of its stops, you will find a choice of accommodation suitable for your needs and plenty of ways to fill your time.
