Entry is free of charge, or you can purchase a Priority Plus ticket which allows you in earlier to pick the best spot.
Another highlight is a spectacular Summer Parade. One of the biggest of its kind in the North it features more than 2000 participants and is hugely popular. The 2020 parade takes place on Saturday 4 July. It will be an unmissable day so come along and cheer on the parade through the streets of South Shields, then enjoy the free entertainment all afternoon long at South Shields Seafront.
