Head to a Lancashire family farmyard hideaway

Ormskirk, Lancashire

Explore Lancashire's natural and historic treasures from an award winning self-catering farm cottage.

Crook Hall Farm has two award-winning, four-star farm cottages that are perfect for a rural family escape this summer. The cottages are within the grounds of a working farm so there are always fresh eggs for breakfast, and kids of all ages will love watching the comings and goings of farmer Cliff and his family.

The farm’s three full stocked ponds make this a popular choice for anglers and you're only a cycle ride from the Tudor property, Rufford Old Hall owned by the National Trust, and WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre famed for its migratory birds. The new Wild Walk at Martin Mere, aimed at younger visitors, takes you on an exciting journey through muddy meadows, reed beds and woodland. Wellies are a must!
