Let imaginations run wild at Tatton Park this autumn on a magical journey exploring the lifeworks of one of Britain's most-loved children’s authors.
Entertainment for this unique event will come in many forms; families can enjoy a scrumdiddlyumptious picnic day in September with bags of activities and treats to enjoy. A litter later, there will be a fearsome Halloween which will be full of witchy mischief, spooky entertainment and a whole park-full of Roald Dahl frights.
There’s also a magnificent display in the Tatton Park mansion of Roald Dahl book covers spanning throughout his greatest works from around the world, where guests can see how their favourite books have appeared on shelves throughout time.
Don’t forget to find time to explore the picturesque Tatton Park estate and its beautiful surroundings including the Georgian mansion, Tudor Old Hall and award winning gardens. Visitors can stay at The Place Aparthotel in Manchester city centre which offers easy access to Tatton Park via train from Manchester Piccadilly station.
