Walking in the New Forest

New Forest, Hampshire

Twist and turn through vibrant gorse, imposing woodland and bubbling streams as you stroll through the Forest’s 143 miles of trails.

Miles and miles of trails wind their way through the New Forest’s 193,000 acres of unspoilt heath land and ancient woodland.

There are numerous clearly signposted routes that you can easily follow on your own or join a New Forest Guided walk to see the Forest through the eyes of a local expert who will share interesting facts and stories about the landscape and wildlife as you progress along the route. Many routes are also accessible.

Plan your route carefully and finish up in one of the New Forest’s hearty country pubs.
