Tracing the Titanic in Southampton

Venture back to 1912 and immerse yourself in the story of RMS Titanic at Southampton’s interactive, state-of-the-art SeaCity Museum.

The Titanic is a subject close to Southampton’s heart, with more than 500 of the city’s households losing a family member after the ship sank in April 1912. Today SeaCity tells the Titanic Story, where you can learn about the ship’s passengers and crew, as well as step through interactive experiences such as the sights and sounds of Southampton at the time of the tragedy.

You can learn about how the ship operated and what happened after her sinking, from the rescue mission to the British inquiry after the disaster.

Continue your experience on the city's Titanic Trail, a self-guided walk around key locations that played a part in the famous story.
