Tour the 18th century Walled Gardens at the Apley Estate

Apley, Shropshire

Take a guided tour of the Walled Gardens on the Apley Estate, sample its produce at The Creamery Café or buy your own from Apley Farm Shop.

The Apley Walled Gardens restoration project began in 2013. Now you can take your own tour of the garden in the company of either Lord or Lady Hamilton, or the Head Gardener.

See the work in progress to restore this 18th century kitchen garden back to its former glory and learn more about its history.

The Walled Gardens produce a variety of interesting and unusual fruit and vegetables, including several heritage varieties.

After your tour you can enjoy a delicious meal at The Creamery Café, prepared using produce from the garden and browse the Apley Farm Shop for your own local, seasonal food to take home.
