Take a wild break at the The Coastal Activity Park

Extending over 1km either side of Boscombe Pier near Bournemouth, the Coastal Activity Park is set along a seven mile stretch of award-winning golden sand. One of the biggest draws for both adults and children is the number of free outdoor activities on offer, especially since Bournemouth frequently enjoys warmer than average temperatures.

Try your hand at bouldering on rocks designed to look like Dorset's most famous local, natural landmarks, or test your highwire balance by slacklining on the sand. 

For the sporty ones on your trip there's table tennis, swingball, and a gym trail to work out in the gorgeous setting of the beach.

You can also walk the musical trail - a selection of large hand-crafted musical instruments, including tubular bells, seaside chimes and a babel drum, line the historic pier at Boscombe and make for traditional sonic challenge suitable for both adults and children.
