Blow away the cobwebs and explore the new Ullswater Way

Ullswater, Cumbria

The Ullswater Way is a stunning 20-mile walking route around one of the Lake Districts most beautiful lakes.

From the might of Helvellyn and some of Alfred Wainwright’s favourites such as Striding Edge,  to the remote valley of Martindale offering serene peace and tranquillity, you are guaranteed to find some of the most spectacular and famous walking routes around.

For the first time you can now enjoy a 20-mile circular route around the lake called the Ullswater Way.  The route crosses sections of open fell and farm land, offering stunning views of both the lake and fells with footpaths that link all four piers and services including Aira Force, Pooley Bridge, Howtown and Glenridding.
