See a play under the stars
Regent's Park, Greater London
Experience theatre performed in the open air, amid the beautiful, green surroundings of Regent's Park.
Every summer, a touch of London's West End sparkle comes to picturesque Regent's Park in the form of a popular outdoor theatre.
The 1,240-seat auditorium of the Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre gives a surprisingly intimate feel to the performances, which range from classic plays to contemporary comedy and musicals. Past shows have included A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Sound of Music and Pride and Prejudice.
Make an evening of it and book a summer hamper to enjoy on the picnic lawn, enjoy a grilled snack from the barbecue, or tuck into a pre-show dinner at the Saracens Sports Foundation Covered Dining – you can even pop back during the interval for dessert and coffee.
Then stick around after the show to enjoy a drink at the bar and discuss the night's performance, as the fairy lights twinkle in the trees above.
