This exciting annual event features ‘incredible illustrations and brilliant books’ from a variety of children's authors and illustrators.
Did you know that Loughborough in Leicestershire is where the very first Ladybird book was produced 100 years ago? Discover more interesting facts during the October half term (18-23 October) with the festival’s fun-packed programme of events, illustration and digital media workshops, vintage book fairs and exhibitions. There will also be readings and activities with appearances from some of the nation’s favourite children’s authors and illustrators.
This year's event also celebrates the 80th anniversary of long-time favourite The Beano, with an exclusive display of Comic Art running at the Charnwood Museum Gallery during Loogabarooga Festival.
