Beverley comes alive in autumn (October ) with a feast of over 90 mouth-watering stalls celebrating local food heroes – and includes cookery theatre with a line-up of eight local, highly-acclaimed chefs giving cookery demonstrations which focus on local produce.

Over at the Burton Agnes Hall (October), the traditional feast of Michaelmas is celebrated. This magnificent stately home will be filled with seasonal food and craft stalls, music and merriment, based on the theme of produce from countryside and gardens.

While in springtime, the annual Malton Food Festival (May) showcases the very best local produce – with over 160 stalls; famous patrons; delicious street food; chef demos; cookery lessons; entertainment; talks and tastings.

Don’t just come for the day, there’s lots to see and do and a wide variety of welcoming places to stay.
