This September Birmingham will host a weekend of live music, dance, art, literature, food and fashion in a free festival of artistic celebration – The Birmingham Weekender.
The city’s major arts organisations have joined forces for this new spectacular which will embrace local international arts and artists and will take over the city centre across two amazing days.
Celebrating their 25th season of ballet in the city - Birmingham Royal Ballet’s 15/16 season is situated in their hometown. Among the autumn highlights are Swan Lake and Theme and Variations a triple bill of contrasting ballets which showcase the extraordinary range of the company.
And Birmingham Literature Festival is back in October – a must for all literature lovers it has been a staple of Birmingham’s festival calendar for over 15 years.
