Follow in Roman footsteps with a free smartphone app

Get out your smartphone and walk in the footsteps of the Romans along the Lincoln Roman Trail. Follow the directions on your screen using the free digital trail to find Roman ruins and other signs pointing to life in Lincoln almost 2,000 years ago.

Follow the outdoor trail to Newport Arch, the oldest arch in England still to have traffic pass under it. Let it lead you down Steep Hill, once covered in steps, where shops are now built into the ancient gates.
