Exploring Cheshire’s Peak District

Peak District, Cheshire

Spend the weekend together biking along beautiful canals, find your spiritual awaking, and reach for the Cloud.

After taking a leisurely climb up to Mow Cop you can get in touch with your inner self in this place of spiritual significance. If you prefer, take a stroll hand-in-hand along one of the local canals, while taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. You may even see a canal boat or two.

If walking is not your cup of tea, why not bring the bikes along and take a ride together through the countryside? Stop off at Timbersbrook Picnic Area for a romantic woodland picnic. Across the road is the mill pool, a quiet spot to enjoy peace and tranquillity. There are lots of possible circular walks and rides from Timbersbrook into the surrounding countryside. Climb to the top of The Cloud; the stunning views over the Cheshire plain are well worth it.
