Explore the River Wye by canoe

Wye Valley and Forest of Dean

Spring is one of the most picturesque times of year to navigate the Wye Valley by water.

As the weather begins to warm up, and the spring flowers begin to bloom, it’s a great time to test your canoeing skills in this scenic stretch of the Wye Valley.

Total beginners will be in safe hands riding the River Wye and rapids at Symonds Yat thanks to the team of experienced instructors at Wyedean Canoe and Adventure Centre.

As well as teaching solo paddlers, they also run water sports sessions and outdoor activities for groups, including school trips and kids’ parties.
