Try out a variety of family-friendly watersports on the broads. Discover rare animals from Asia on a tiger walk, all close to Great Yarmouth.
Just north-west of Great Yarmouth, explore Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens where, through their conservation work, you can see a special collection of rare Asian animals including tigers, Amur leopards, reptiles and primates. The tiger walk gets you right up into the trees and really close to the big cats.
Discover the beautiful land-locked Trinity Broads at Filby, Rollesby and Ormesby for lots of things to do with the kids. Go for a stroll, hire a rowing boat or climb aboard the Edwardian wooden launch, Gentleman Jim, for a genteel glide through the water at The Waterside, a fabulous lunch stop with beautiful views. For proper messing about on the river, jump in a canoe or hire a paddleboard at Martham and try to spot wildlife like Otters or Bitterns.
