Enjoy a Sunday lunch on the Severn Valley Railway

Kidderminster, Worcestershire

Setting off from Kidderminster, dine in style on a steam-hauled restaurant car train, along 16 miles of Shropshire’s beautiful Severn Valley.

You can choose to dine in either the authentic 1930s Great Western Railway carriage ‘The Severn Valley Limited’, or the classic 1940s first-class fine carriage ‘The Severn Valley Venturer’.

Both carriages have been lovingly restored with period tables, sofas and armchairs, to reflect the styles of the day.

A steward will be on hand to attend to your needs and serve your three-course meal with coffee and mints, whilst you steam through the Shropshire countryside, from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth.

If you can’t make Sunday Luncheon there are also regular cream tea and brunch services, as well as special services throughout the year, including Murder Mystery Evenings!
