Discover green Birmingham

Birmingham, West Midlands

Birmingham has more than 8,000 acres of award-winning green spaces and parks – more than any other European city.

Birmingham takes pride in maintaining its green landscapes, and was one of the first cities in the UK to develop this array of horticultural spaces. Today it is recognised as one of the greenest cities in the country.

Birmingham is bursting with flowers and floral features which can be seen throughout the city. All along the famous canals are beautiful floral arrangements, best enjoyed from a relaxing boat ride.

Or spend the day at the Botanical Gardens, a haven of historic grounds and unusual plants, a great day out for the whole family.
