Open-air theatre, art and craft galleries, music, history. The Isles of Scilly have a range of attractions and activities for culture connoisseurs.
The Isles of Scilly has a thriving artistic community and each island has at least one art gallery open to visitors. Workshops and other cultural activities are also available for creative types who are inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the islands and wish to make their own unique souvenir.
Local bands playing anything from folk to rock classics frequent the local hostelries each summer weekend and local guides offer walks around some of the islands' 230 plus ancient monuments and sites.
As well as all this, the Isles of Scilly are great for theatre trips; they host the Miracle Theatre Company, who will be performing The Magnificent Three in July, and the Festival Players performing Shakespeare’s As You Like It and Henry IV in August.
