Celebrate Scarborough’s Seafest Maritime Festival by filling your hamper with some of the best food from local suppliers and heading for the beach.
Found at Scarborough’s West Pier between 20-22 July, the Seafest festival is the place to sample mouth-watering food from local producers and watch the free cookery demos in the Seafood kitchen with leading Yorkshire chefs.
Tuck into traditional English food such as fish and chips, crab sandwiches and bowl of mussels as well as lobster bisque, grilled salmon, juicy scallops. Watch the boats sail in with their catch before soaking up spectacular views while tucking into a seafood picnic on the North Bay.
Seafest attendees can also claim discount on guided walks and the local Sealife Sanctuary during Seaside Walk week (21 – 29 July). Make sure to take advantage of this offer when visiting Scarborough for the Maritime Festival!
