Celebrate Scarborough’s seafood heritage by filling your hamper with some of the best food from local suppliers and heading for the beach.
Found at Scarborough’s West Pier in July, the Seafest Maritime Festival is ideal for foodies with a love for the sea; sample mouth-watering food from local producers while watching free cookery demos in the Seafood kitchen with leading Yorkshire chefs.
Tuck into traditional English food such as fish and chips, crab sandwiches and bowl of mussels, or opt for fresh favourtites including lobster bisque, grilled salmon, juicy scallops. Watch the boats sail in with their catch and head to the real ale and beer festival at the Great Yorkshire Brewery to add the perfect finish to a summer day at the seaside.
Scarborough's Seafest Maritime Festival 2019 takes place between 26-28 July and is free for all to attend.
