Find riverside amusements aplenty in the Severn Valley

The River Severn, the River Stour, and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal navigate through the town, creating unlimited opportunities for a cheap weekend break.

The River Severn and Meadows is a stunning spot by the river with many cheap things to do, including boats to hire, a modern and exciting children’s play area, river cruises, a putting green, go-karts, a paddling pool, skateboard park, plus many amusements.

The canal basins provide a great place to wander around at leisure and the abundance of water creates an air of peace and serenity. Relax, unwind and watch the boats travelling through the historic basins from one of the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Just the other side of the bridge, by the river, you will find Treasure Island Amusement Centre – with 25 fairground rides, including a dragon roller coaster, dodgems, waltzers, a ferris wheel, carousel, helter skelter and a large arcade.
