Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms

Afternoon tea at the legendary Bettys café tearoom is a Yorkshire institution. Bettys’ founder, Frederick Belmont, commissioned the same designers who styled the Queen Mary cruise liner to work their art deco magic on the first floor of Bettys in York in 1937, creating an elegant backdrop for the quintessential afternoon tea experience. The Belmont Room brings a true sense of occasion to any event and is an extremely versatile space, allowing a variety of seating arrangements. Private bookings can accommodate up to 60 people.
