The Monastery Manchester is a very special place. Once a Franciscan Church and Friary, and described as architect Edward Pugin’s gothic masterpiece, it is run by volunteers and owned by the same charitable trust that rescued it from ruin during the late Eighties.

The splendour of the Great Nave at The Monastery provides a magnificent backdrop for breathtaking banquets, gala dinners and awards celebrations with formal seating for up to 450 guests. Profits from events and activities are donated back to the Trust to support ongoing maintenance, as well as charitable projects in arts, health, skills and education.
