Clifton Suspension Bridge
The Clifton Suspension Bridge spans the Avon Gorge and the River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol to Leigh Woods in North Somerset. Covering the history, construction and maintenance of the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, a private tour is provided by knowledgeable volunteer guides. Tours last between 45 minutes and an hour and begin at the Clifton Toll Booth on the Bristol side of the bridge, finishing at the Visitor Centre on the other side. Devoted to producing quality wine, Aldwick Estate offers tours of its 11 acres of grape-vines where groups can delve into the history of the largest vineyard in Somerset, witness the development of grapes and sample some of the available vintages. Aardman away days
Bristol is home to multi-award-winning Aardman Animations, creators of Morph, Shaun the Sheep and Wallace and Gromit. Aardman’s clay building workshops offer a truly unique experience, providing participants with the opportunity to learn from expert model makers on to how to create world-famous Aardman characters and develop a story around them, whilst simultaneously enhancing communication and team work within their organisation. Participants are encouraged to focus on leadership, communication and team building, as learning theory is creatively woven into a fun day, playing with modelling clay and creating bespoke animations.
