Rainy Day Activities: Make a splash at Sandcastle Waterpark

Water, water, everywhere… At the Sandcastle Waterpark, one of Blackpool's largest indoor attractions, water has been used in every way possible to create a labyrinth of twisting, turning slides, pools and chutes. The Aztec Falls sees swimmers swept along tunnels by gallons of the stuff, while Masterblaster is the world’s longest indoor rollercoaster waterslide, where riders on rafts are propelled down great drops – even uphill – before being ceremoniously spat out at the end. There’s the chance for a little R ’n’ R too, what with the Lazy River, Sea Breeze Spa and a selection of burger and snack bars.
