Spendid views and a splendid bath at Cothill Barn

Cothill, Herefordshire

Relaxing is all you and the family need to worry about at this historical barn in the heart of the English countryside.

Head for the hammock and take in the enclosed garden and views of the Black Mountains. This 18th century stable and barn sleeps 20 combined, but don’t panic if the hammock’s taken. Sitting is taken very seriously here, so you’ll find a spot to watch the sunset on the rope swing, in the Shepherd’s Hut or even in front of the fire pit, should it turn chilly.

The relaxation continues indoors with squashy sofas, roll-top baths, a rainstorm shower and French antique beds that you can’t help but melt into. Furry friends aren’t forgotten either - there’s a room for the dogs (and the mucky wellies). You are on a sheep farm after all.
