Scream if you want to go faster at Alpamare waterpark

For alpine adrenaline thrills and super fun water sports, this Scarborough theme park is bound to please. You’ll find all sorts of slides to make your stomach drop. Try the Snow Storm if you dare, or brave the Black Run. There’s also a giant indoor wave pool which unleashes metre-high waves every 30 minutes.

Younger children needn’t feel left out. They’ll love going wild in the water at the Aqua Play area, which has spray jets, tipping cones, water guns, a dual slide and a giant overhead tipping bucket for hours of fun.

And adults who prefer a more tranquil time can luxuriate in outdoor pools (heated to 34C) and relaxing whirlpools, visit the spa or chill-out with the family in the garden pool and take in the alpine surroundings.
