Find some peace and quiet at the Cottage in the Dales
Yorkshire Dales National Park
Get away from it all at the Cottage in the Dales - a collection of three luxurious self-catering cottages in the tranquil Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The cottages
‘The Dairy’ cottage was designed with accessibility in mind to make sure all guests have a relaxing stay, whatever their age or physical ability. What makes this cottage even more special is that accessible facilities are there if needed, but disappear if not. The stunning wetroom, for example, has a remote-controlled shower, removable grab rails and shower seat. A portable hoist, commode chair and rise/recline chair are also available if you need them.
Everyone has the chance of whipping up a meal in the bespoke kitchen too, with its low-level shelving, colour-coded taps and a wheelchair-accessible sink, hob, and work surface.
The property is level-access throughout and has an adjoining courtyard patio with a barbecue and unbeatable views across the dale.
Other features
If you're staying in one of the other cottages, you can also request the use of a range of visual, hearing and mobility equipment, including a bath lift, commode chair, rise/recline chair, a 'wake and shake' alarm clock, bed rail and induction loop.
If you need some more details, an ‘Accessible Luxury’ brochure, video tour and access information can be provided, and the owners are on-site and on-hand to help you make the most of your stay.
