Take one historic town, an enviable food culture, passionate local chefs and food producers and you get the perfect recipe for Ludlow Food Festival.
Standing proudly over Ludlow is the castle, which may have witnessed many exciting battles over the centuries, but none quite as gripping as bakers battling for the title of ‘Festival Loaf’ at Ludlow Food Festival.
Held each September in the grounds of Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Food Festival is one of the UK’s premier food festivals showcasing the very best local food and drink producers from Shropshire and the Marches. Within the Castle walls you’ll be able to see great demonstrations and talks, take part in workshops or master classes, or you may just like to pick up a tasty morsel or two from the 180-plus exhibitors. The festival atmosphere spills out across Ludlow’s historic town centre and there is no end of ‘foody’ related events and activities taking place.
This year's Ludlow Food Festival takes place between 7-9 September. Early bird tickets are available to buy right now, and will save you a couple of quid on the on-the-door price!
