Take one historic town, an enviable food culture, passionate local chefs and food producers and you get the perfect recipe for Ludlow Food Festival.
Standing proudly over Ludlow is the castle, which has witnessed many battles over the centuries but none so gripping as bakers battling for the title of ‘Festival Loaf’ at Ludlow Food Festival.
Held each September in the grounds of Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Food Festival is one of the UK’s premier food festivals showcasing the very best local food and drink producers from Shropshire and the Marches. Within the Castle walls you’ll be able to see great demonstrations and talks, take part in workshops or master classes, or you may just like to pick up a tasty morsel or two from the 180-or-so exhibitors. The festival atmosphere spills out across Ludlow’s historic town centre and there is no end of ‘foody’ related events and activities taking place.
