At the heart of the New Forest you’ll find two award winning family destinations.
Beaulieu is home to the stunning National Motor Museum, Abbey ruins, World of Top Gear, Palace House and Gardens – all of which are included in one great value ticket. New for 2014, “For Britain And For The Hell Of It” tells the story of British Land speed records and “The Motorcycle Story” provides a journey through motorcycling history. Plus, jump aboard the monorail for informative commentary and sweeping views of the grounds.
At nearby Buckler’s Hard, you’ll see a beautifully preserved 18th Century village on the now tranquil and picturesque banks of the Beaulieu River. Once a hive of shipbuilding activity, providing warships for Nelson’s Navy, Buckler’s Hard now houses a fascinating maritime museum, historic cottage, tea rooms and more.
