Enjoy an adventurous day out for the whole family at the Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium, and learn more about our constantly expanding universe.

Found on the edge of the South Downs National Park, Winchester Science Centre is an educational playground for young children. Across two floors of interactive exhibits, kids can operate cranes, compose electronic music, build electrical circuits and see their body’s hot spots with a thermo-imaging camera - the list of exciting things to do goes on and on and on.

A new immersive zone - Explorer: Space - takes visitors on a journey through our solar system with 20 different exhibits covering everything from meteorites to human space flight history. Keep their interest in science ignited with a trip to the adjacent planetarium; a variety of child-friendly films show daily in this immersive 360° cinema. 

Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium is an all weather attraction, making it an ideal activity for the next rainy day. Open seven days a week with free on-site parking, entry to the Science Centre is £9 if booked more than three days in advance.
