Try some luxury without all the fuss at Dormy House

Broadway, Worcestershire

You won’t find tractors or pigsties anymore at Dormy House; instead this former farmhouse has all the luxuries of a top hotel without that infernal stuffiness.

There are four dog-friendly rooms for anyone who can’t be parted from their pooch, and ample chance to exercise them in the surrounding 400-acre Farncombe Estate.

Don’t bother bringing your black tie; the dining in the Garden Room might be fine but the atmosphere is relaxed. Alternatively, for heartier grub, try Dormy House’s very own Cotswolds pub The Potting Shed, or enjoy afternoon tea, which can be taken up to bed when you’re feeling really lazy. The more energetic can explore the spa, but there’s no obligation if even that sounds like hard work.
