No trip to Surrey would be complete without a walk around Richmond Park. The deer have played a major role in the history of the park and have played a significant part in shaping the landscape that we know today. The park was created by Charles I in 1634 and currently contains 630 red and fallow deer.
The park is the second largest in London and visitors can follow a number of trails around the park. Walkers can see not only deer but also visit other special places including the stunning woodland garden Isabella Plantation.
